How to Keep Cigars Fresh?

Properly storing your cigars is essential for preserving their flavor, aroma, and overall smoking experience. The key is controlling both humidity and temperature. Most aficionados recommend a relative humidity level of about 70% and a temperature around 70°F (21°C). Keeping your cigars in a stable environment, whether in a dedicated humidor or a sealed container with a humidification pouch, helps prevent them from drying out or developing mold.

Without the right humidity, even the finest cigar can lose its magic.

Additionally, remember to handle your cigars with care when rotating or inspecting them—oils from your hands can affect the wrapper’s delicate surface. It’s also wise to use a digital hygrometer to ensure accurate humidity readings. By combining these simple practices with a bit of attention and regular checks, you’ll keep your cigars fresh, flavorful, and ready to enjoy whenever you please.
